El Corte Ingles
SUMMERTIME CAMPAIGN

May 2026
El Corte Ingles leans into a sophisticated, sun-drenched aesthetic for its latest Summertime campaign, bridging the gap between high-end commercial polish and raw, coastal allure. Captured through the lens of photographer Lala Serrano, the campaign features model Irina Shayk positioned against a backdrop of rugged volcanic rock formations, creating a striking tension between the soft, organic textures of the seasonal wardrobe and the jagged, elemental environment. Art director Laura Porras del Puerto orchestrates a visual narrative that feels both timeless and elevated, utilizing a palette of mint green, terracotta, and mustard to ground the collection in a refined, warm-weather reality. The execution relies heavily on natural light to emphasize the fine details of the fabric, from the ribbed knit of polo shirts to the intricate patterns of woven straw totes. Franco Gobbi contributes a signature wet-look, slicked-back hairstyle that mirrors the fluidity of the coastal setting, while makeup artist Lucia Giacomin keeps the beauty focus clean and radiant. By embracing editorial minimalism and lifestyle storytelling, the project avoids the clutter of traditional retail advertising. Each frame captures a deliberate stillness, allowing the juxtaposition of smooth swimwear and coarse stone to define the brand identity. This series stands as a masterclass in atmospheric photography, where location and styling coalesce to define the modern luxury of a summer escape.
