LOST IN THE MIRROR is a fashion editorial series produced for Dust Magazine China, featuring a collection of experimental beauty portraits. Photographed by David Ferrua, the project explores avant-garde aesthetics through high-contrast imagery and graphic post-production elements. The series utilizes clean studio lighting and minimalist white backgrounds to frame bold styling, including surreal facial embellishments, sculptural figurines, and intricate textile applications. The editorial features models Summer Dirx and Viktoria Wirs, with makeup direction by Peter Philips. The visual narrative relies on sharp typography and detailed beauty styling, such as wet-textured hair and layered graphic overlays. Hair styling by Sebastien Bascle and manicures by Sylvie Vacca contribute to the project’s polished, high-key editorial finish, balancing conceptual artistry with technical precision.
