"DURANIMAL" Fall 2025 Ad Campaign
Date

Sep 2025

Description

For the DURANIMAL Fall 2025 campaign, creative director Duran Lantink and photographer Juergen Teller lean into a surrealist dialogue between high-fashion luxury and the wild. Set against the backdrop of zoo enclosures and aquarium tanks, the imagery establishes a distinct editorial narrative where animal-print motifs collide with their literal, living habitats. Models Alex Consani and Leon Dame navigate these spaces in sculptural, skin-tight bodysuits and bold, patterned outerwear, effectively blurring the lines between human form and animalistic texture. The visual execution utilizes a documentary-leaning approach, prioritizing natural light to anchor the provocative collection within tangible, everyday environments like bus shelters and glass-walled viewing areas. With art direction by Jop van Bennekom and meticulous styling by Jodie Barnes, the campaign channels a sense of raw, unfiltered polish that feels both grounded and conceptually daring. The inclusion of studio-shot anatomical silicone pieces offers a clinical counterpoint to the organic zoo settings, underscoring a tension between manufactured aesthetics and the natural world. This project stands as a high-concept exploration of luxury fashion, utilizing live-action techniques to emphasize the interplay between fabric patterns and reality. Through this lens, the DURANIMAL collection transcends standard seasonal marketing, presenting a cohesive aesthetic language that is as visceral as it is visually arresting.
