Dior
Cruise 2024 Ad Campaign

Oct 2023
The Dior Cruise 2024 ad campaign serves as a masterclass in editorial minimalism, grounding the brand’s storied legacy within a contemporary, nature-infused studio narrative. Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri orchestrates a visual dialogue that channels a refined balance between structure and organic chaos, utilizing a muted, earth-toned palette to allow the collection’s intricate embroidery and delicate lace to take center stage. Captured with precision by photographer Brigitte Niedermair, the campaign leans into a sophisticated aesthetic where high-fashion portraiture meets conceptual art. The project utilizes studio strobe lighting to emphasize the rich textures of the garments, while natural light accents add depth to the carefully curated installations of dry branches and vibrant flora arranged by set designer Alexander Bock. Stylist Elin Svahn crafts a look that feels both historic and forward-thinking, perfectly complemented by the sharp, architectural hair styling of Guido Palau and the understated, glowing artistry of makeup artist Peter Philips. With talent including Ana Miguel, Maryel Uchida, and Sara Caballero, the imagery avoids traditional runway dynamism in favor of a poised, symmetric stillness. By merging heavy structured tailoring with the softness of floral motifs, the campaign reads as a cohesive, polished exploration of the Dior woman, proving that even in a controlled studio environment, the intersection of botanical chaos and geometric precision can create an enduring, luxury-defined visual language that feels both fresh and timeless.
