Diesel Denim Campaign F/W 26

May 2026
Diesel subverts the traditional expectations of luxury fashion houses in its latest Fall/Winter 26 campaign, where industrial edge meets the ornate grandeur of classical interior design. Under the sharp vision of designer Glenn Martens, the collection elevates denim from a staple fabric to a high-fashion statement, blending rugged textures with the opulent, gold-leafed backdrop of a stately manor. The campaign utilizes a sophisticated editorial aesthetic, juxtaposing the raw versatility of vintage-wash jackets and structured denim skirts against crystal chandeliers and velvet furnishings. Through the lens of photographer Johnny Dufort, the imagery captures a series of deliberate, almost cinematic compositions that feel simultaneously grounded and elevated. Art direction by Christopher Simmonds bridges the gap between the chaotic reality of live-action technique and the pristine finish of a commercial production. With casting by Emma Matell and styling by Ursina Gysi, the campaign showcases a diverse cast that brings a human element to the curated luxury setting. The technical approach ranges from the crisp, controlled environment created by studio strobe setups to the soft, diffused warmth of natural light, ensuring every garment detail is highlighted. By integrating movement direction by Meshach Henry, the project breathes life into its portraiture, creating a cohesive visual narrative that challenges what a modern denim house can look like when framed by history.
