Dazed MENA explores a series of intimate domestic vignettes for its second issue, blending retro-leaning interiors with modern editorial sensibilities. Photographed by Alexandra Alvarez Garcia, the project channels a raw, nostalgic atmosphere across a range of bathroom and studio environments. Styling by Omaima Salem centers on layered textures, utilizing graphic prints, open-knit fabrics, and structured tailoring to ground the subjects. The visual narrative is enhanced by Yumiko Hikage’s sculptural hair styling and Kanako Yoshida’s polished makeup, which highlights natural skin textures and defined contours. The series leverages soft ambient lighting to maintain a candid aesthetic, moving between tight, character-focused portraits and group compositions.
