Dazed MENA: A Love Supreme

A Love Supreme is a fashion editorial series for Dazed MENA that explores the intersection of movement and portraiture. Through a blend of contemporary dance choreography and high-contrast studio photography, the project captures sculptural forms and kinetic energy. The visuals rely on a moody, cinematic approach, alternating between monochromatic intensity and warm, low-key colour palettes that emphasize textile depth and raw human interaction. Photographer Robbie Lawrence captures the ensemble cast in both fluid, expressive motion and contemplative stillness. The production leans into analogue film aesthetics and heavy grain to build a gritty, textured atmosphere. With creative direction by Ali Pirzadeh and styling by Omaima Salem, the editorial balances architectural garment shapes with the raw, dynamic presence of the performers. The project is further defined by the contributions of choreographer Benjamin Jonsson, makeup artist Crystabel Efemena Riley, and casting director Chouaib Arif.
