Dacia takes an unconventional approach to the automotive commercial with its Dakar campaign, placing a traditional sailing ship in the heart of an arid desert landscape. The film leans into cinematic production techniques, using a warm, golden-toned color palette and natural light to emphasize the scale of the environment. Developed by Publicis Conseil and Publicis France, the spot follows the vessel as it navigates through blowing sand and dust. Production by Wanda and post-production work by Prodigious and Wanda utilize VFX to integrate the ship into the vast, rugged terrain, with original sound design provided by Start Rec.
