Cartier
Love Unlimited Ad Campaign

Oct 2025
The Cartier Love Unlimited campaign redefines the luxury jewellery narrative by shifting the focus from polished artifice to authentic, human connection. Directed by Sofia Coppola, who also features prominently as a photographer alongside Isabella Elordi, the campaign channels a documentary-style aesthetic that leans heavily into candid intimacy. By capturing actor Jacob Elordi in a series of relaxed, lived-in settings—from sun-drenched urban rooftops and residential bedrooms to classic cafe interiors—the project frames the iconic Cartier Love bracelet as an essential, everyday companion rather than a mere accessory. The visual language is defined by a raw, cinematic quality, heavily utilizing natural light and textures like brick and weathered stone to ground the high-end jewellery in a tactile reality. Techniques such as 35mm film, instant Polaroid photography, and a live-action approach to behind-the-scenes framing create a nostalgic, editorial minimalism. This portrait-heavy work strips away the standard polish of high-fashion marketing, opting instead for an introspective mood where the interplay between subject and camera becomes the centerpiece. The result is a sophisticated exploration of modern luxury that prioritizes emotional resonance, with the gold bangles and cuffs subtly catching the ambient light as markers of personal narrative and quiet, enduring style.
