Cartier
High Jewelry Campaign 2027

May 2026
Cartier returns to the spotlight with its High Jewelry Campaign 2027, a masterclass in editorial portraiture that leans into the house’s legacy of uncompromising opulence. Through a series of tight, deliberate compositions, the project strips away the noise of traditional advertising to focus entirely on the tactile brilliance of precious gemstones. Photographer Théo de Gueltzl captures the collection with clinical precision, utilizing studio strobe lighting to emphasize the cold, sharp facets of sapphire, emerald, and ruby against the soft, abstract geometry of the backgrounds crafted by set designer Jean-Michel Bertin. The creative direction, guided by director Masha Vasyukova, anchors these vibrant pieces with a minimalist fashion sensibility; stylist James Valeri opts for high-collared silhouettes and sleek velvet textures that allow the intricate jewelry to take center stage. Every frame serves as a study in luxury contrast, where the stark, cool-toned environments highlight the interplay between light and structure. With precise hair styling from Ramona Eschbach and refined makeup artistry by Anthony Preel, the aesthetic remains inherently polished and professional. By blending traditional portraiture techniques with a contemporary, high-fashion lens, the campaign transcends mere product showcase, instead positioning these pieces as sculptural artifacts. This collaboration creates a cohesive visual language that feels both timeless and aggressively modern, defining the future of high-end jewellery marketing.
