Carolina Herrera Bimba 2020 2025

About

The Bimba 2020 campaign for Carolina Herrera presents a series of fashion editorials centered on the collection’s focus on texture and silhouette. Featuring model Grace Elizabeth, the campaign explores the intersection of classic eveningwear and structured accessories. Photographer David Portela employs a distinct monochrome palette, utilizing low-key chiaroscuro lighting and clean flash techniques to emphasize the interplay between tweed, tulle, and layered beadwork. Styling by Julia Martinez incorporates sharp detailing, from ornate chain necklaces to structured leather clutches, set against both minimalist studio backdrops and urban environments. With makeup by Paca Navarro, the visual narrative leans into a refined, editorial aesthetic that balances sharp geometry with soft textile layers. The project utilizes various techniques including analogue film and high-contrast composition to define the collection's seasonal identity.
