Burberry
Spring 2024 Ad Campaign

Nov 2023
For the Burberry Spring 2024 ad campaign, creative director Daniel Lee continues to redefine the storied British brand’s visual lexicon through a deeply grounded, quintessential lens. Shot by photographer and director Tyrone Lebon, the series channels a refined sense of place, capturing an eclectic cast of cultural icons including Damon Albarn, Son Heung-Min, and Rachel Weisz against the familiar backdrop of urban London. The execution leans into an authentic, street-level editorial aesthetic that highlights the collection’s tactile diversity, from plush faux-fur collars and heavy wool tartan patterns to intricate rose-print detailing. Utilizing a blend of natural light and sharp flash, the portraits feel both intimate and immediate, anchoring high-fashion tailoring within the everyday texture of brick-walled alleyways, iron-railed canals, and quiet residential streets. By weaving together commercial precision and raw, lived-in portraiture, the project celebrates a contemporary evolution of heritage. The result is an evocative study in texture and character, where iconic equestrian knight branding acts as a subtle thread connecting each subject to the house’s legacy. Through the juxtaposition of vibrant optical-illusion prints and classic silhouettes, the campaign succeeds in grounding luxury within a modern, metropolitan narrative that feels distinctly relevant, unforced, and entirely evocative of the shifting tides within the modern fashion landscape.
