Birkenstock 1774

Mar 2024
The Birkenstock 1774 campaign presents a grounded, documentary-style look at the brand’s high-end collection. Photographed by Max Farago, the editorial series trades traditional product staging for an observational, street-level aesthetic that captures candid moments in urban and domestic settings. Fashion editor and stylist Thistle Brown leans into an earthy, textures-focused palette, pairing the label's signature sandals and clogs with layered denim, midi skirts, and soft tailoring. The production utilises a mix of diffused natural light and occasional direct flash, employing analogue film techniques to enhance the series' raw, cinematic quality. Casting by Rachel Chandler and production by Stevie Williams complete the project, which features model Coco Gordon Moore as the primary talent.
