About

Amico Geniale, a fashion editorial series for Elle Men China, explores the intersection of classic tailoring and contemporary texture. Photographed by Xiuyu Chang, the project utilizes natural light to heighten the contrast between structured silhouettes—including double-breasted suits, denim ensembles, and velvet jackets—and the raw, industrial backdrop of concrete surfaces and garage doors. Featuring models Cao Chang and Li Cheng Yuan, the series leans into a clean, minimalist aesthetic with elements of unconventional styling. Through monochromatic and warm palettes, the work balances precise architectural composition with soft, dappled lighting, creating a series of portraits that emphasize both the fluidity of the garments and the stillness of the outdoor environment.
