The Horse in Dream is a fashion editorial commissioned by Elle Men China, conceptualised around the intersection of luxury leather goods and equestrian motifs. Photographer Mia Song captures a series of images that juxtapose structured designer handbags against the organic textures of horses and rustic hay-filled environments. The project utilizes a mix of clean studio lighting and natural light to emphasize tactile surfaces, ranging from smooth suede to weathered leather. With a visual language that incorporates grainy, monochrome documentary-style sequences and nostalgic color palettes, the series leans into an earthy, polished aesthetic.
