Traces of red in snowland is an editorial fashion series for Elle Men China, captured by photographer Mia Song. The project explores the juxtaposition of vibrant crimson accessories against the stark, minimalist backdrop of winter landscapes. The series features a range of bags and accessories, including structured handbags and small leather goods, placed within raw, outdoor snowfields. Utilising natural light, the photography emphasises the textural contrast between manufactured materials like leather and wood against the organic elements of pine needles, fallen leaves, and winter branches. The work relies on clean, geometric compositions to highlight the saturated red tones against a desaturated, snowy environment.
