Alainpaul
Fall 2024 Ad Campaign

Dec 2024
The Alainpaul Fall 2024 ad campaign masterfully channels the intersection of movement and luxury, grounding the brand's latest collection in the quiet, focused discipline of a professional dance studio. By utilizing the rhythmic, structural backdrop of Danceloft 19, the campaign leans into a visual narrative defined by editorial minimalism and high-key lighting. Photographer Liv Liberg captures this aesthetic with precision, employing a series of reflective surfaces and mirrors that create layered, dual-image compositions. This technique forces a dialogue between the subjects—featuring models Britt Liberg, Saiko Mimeur, and Caroline Julien among others—and their own silhouettes, emphasizing the clean lines and tactile depth of the knitwear. Under the creative direction of Alain Paul, alongside Daniella Wilson and Arthur Morisset, the imagery transcends traditional fashion portraiture, instead evoking an ethereal, rehearsal-space atmosphere. The styling, helmed by Vanessa Reid, highlights the contrast between structured, tailored blazers and voluminous, soft-draped fabrics, perfectly articulated against the studio's utilitarian ballet barres. By integrating live-action techniques with sharp studio strobe work and an emphasis on natural light, the project maintains a sophisticated, monochromatic palette that places the focus squarely on the craftsmanship of the garments. The result is a polished, forward-thinking editorial campaign that suggests a seamless fusion of performance art and high-end luxury fashion.
