Giulio Rustichelli
Bio
Giulio’s journey into the world of photography began in his childhood, ignited by the allure of an old camera from his father’s collection. Capturing candid moments of his friends in striking black and white, Giulio discovered an artistic passion that would shape his future. It was in the cozy confines of his family's basement that he recognized photography as his true calling. While pursuing a degree in Economics at the prestigious University Ca' Foscari in Venice, Giulio took a significant leap by opening his first studio in partnership with an esteemed photographer. This collaboration not only honed his technical skills but also laid the foundation for a flourishing career. His early work saw him collaborating with established agencies and diverse brands across the fashion and beauty sectors, marking the onset of a vibrant professional journey. In 2010, Giulio joined the creative team at Fabrica, Benetton’s renowned research and communication center. Here, he immersed himself in a multitude of innovative projects for United Colors of Benetton, showcasing his ability to blend creativity with brand vision. The following year, he played a pivotal role in the development of avant-garde studios in Castrette, further solidifying his reputation in the industry. Giulio’s keen eye for detail and fresh perspective quickly made him the go-to photographer for Benetton’s product advertising campaigns. His inaugural project for the Spring-Summer 2012 collection transformed the brand’s vibrant palette and traditional white backgrounds into a modern visual narrative, reflecting his unique artistic vision and setting a new standard in the world of fashion photography.
