For D Repubblica, photographer Chris Rhodes delivers 'Not Your Average,' an editorial series that leans into high-contrast monochrome and gritty natural light to frame its subject. The project explores sharp architectural lines and organic textures, utilizing low-key chiaroscuro and hard lighting to define form and silhouette. The feature centers on model Betsy Gaghan, captured across a variety of interior and outdoor settings. Stylist Alister Mackie curates a selection of structured tailoring, graphic patterns, and fluid gowns, supported by hair styling from Shiori Takahashi and makeup artistry by Laura Dominique. The collection employs analogue film and grain to ground its sculptural approach.
