Steven Murray, Photographer, Sydney

Description

This diptych features two distinct monochrome athletic portraits captured by photographer Steven Murray in Sydney. The left frame shows a young male gymnast with dark hair wearing a tank top, holding his hands up as a cloud of white chalk dust disperses around him in an indoor training facility. The right frame depicts an athlete with dark curly hair in a specialized athletic top and shorts, captured in a dynamic athletic stance against a neutral outdoor sky. Both images utilize high-contrast black and white grading to emphasize muscle definition, movement, and texture. The composition balances indoor gym equipment with open sky backdrops across the two panels.
