Coty Tarr, Photographer, New York

Description

This powerful monochrome portrait captured by Coty Tarr features a muscular athlete throwing a punch at a heavy bag. The close-up composition accentuates the detailed musculature of the shoulder, arm, and torso, glistening with sweat under dramatic directional lighting. Dark boxing gloves are visible on the extended arm, while a second hanging bag frames the left side of the frame in a textured, minimalist gym environment. The high-contrast black-and-white grading emphasizes raw physical intensity and athletic discipline.
