Atmos Magazine MICRO / MACRO 2025

Description

This striking macro photograph features a vibrant green praying mantis perched atop a translucent, rounded object. Captured by photographer Elizaveta Porodina for the Atmos Magazine project MICRO / MACRO, the image highlights the intricate textures and coloration of the insect's exoskeleton, accented by orange-tipped legs. The lighting creates a luminous quality on the mantis's head and forelegs, set against a smooth, out-of-focus blue gradient background.
