MICRO / MACRO for Atmos Magazine is a detailed editorial series that explores the intersection of human portraiture and the natural world. Through extreme close-up photography, the work blends the intricate anatomy of insects with human features, creating a surreal and tactile visual language. Photographer Elizaveta Porodina employs a moody, atmospheric aesthetic, often using natural light and high-contrast color grading to emphasize biological textures. The series channels a raw, cinematic quality, featuring stylized metallic makeup and iridescent pigments that bridge the gap between skin and exoskeleton. With beauty contributions from hair stylist Amidat Giwa and makeup artist Lynski, alongside casting by Chouaib Arif, the project maintains a consistent focus on macro detail and organic forms.
