About

This vertical photograph captured by Alessandro Simonetti in New York presents an unconventional perspective of a person hanging upside-down inside a transit vehicle. The subject's legs are raised, with their feet holding onto metal overhead grab poles. They wear black track pants with white side stripes, bright red socks with white stripes, and white athletic sneakers with blue trim and elephant print detailing. The composition focuses tightly on the lower body against a softly blurred interior background with ambient lighting and distant figures.
