Vogue Portugal: Haute Couture

Vogue Portugal presents "Haute Couture," a series of fashion editorials exploring architectural silhouettes and avant-garde styling. Photographed by Branislav Simoncik, the production leans into earthy, tactile environments, contrasting elaborate garment textures against rustic and weathered backdrops. Fashion editor Samuel Drira curates the looks, which range from structured, geometric pieces to voluminous, draped haute couture designs. The series features models Atherton Grace Johnson and Eduarda Muehlmann, with casting by Isadora Banaudi. The aesthetic is defined by its clean, editorial focus and use of natural light, often incorporating sculptural elements and detailed hair and makeup by Mayu Morimoto and Asami Kawai respectively. Under the guidance of editor-in-chief Sofia Lucas, the project utilizes an analogue film technique to capture the precision of the apparel.
