Faces da Mesma Moeda is a multi-layered fashion editorial commissioned for Vogue Portugal, featuring a diverse cast of models captured by photographer Branislav Simoncik. Guided by the fashion direction of Jan Králíček, the series traverses a variety of interior environments, ranging from sunlit artist studios and gritty industrial elevators to stark, minimalist studio sets. The project leans into a clean editorial aesthetic, juxtaposing contemporary designer apparel with textural contrast and structured layering. Techniques such as analogue film and flash photography are employed to shift the mood between frames, moving from the warm, grainy tones of a painter’s workshop to the sharp, direct lighting of urban settings. The styling, supported by hair stylist Mirka Mysicka and makeup artist Adriana Bartosova, prioritizes versatility, pairing intricate patterns and sheer fabrics with tailored silhouettes. Casting by Dominika Svetikova brings an intimate, collaborative energy to the series, focusing on group dynamics and relaxed poses across the diverse set designs.
