Energia efervescente is a high-fashion editorial series for Vogue Portugal that explores playful, surrealist narratives through a maximalist lens. Captured by photographer Jamie Nelson, the project channels a retro-infused aesthetic, blending bold beauty looks with cinematic, character-driven portraiture. The imagery is defined by a saturated color palette and experimental compositions that contrast structured architectural geometry with lush, natural foliage. Key creative contributors include fashion editor Shalev Lav’an, whose styling defines the eclectic wardrobe, alongside hair stylist Kiki Heitkotter and makeup artist Tami El Sombati. Set designer Lucy Holt creates immersive environments, from vintage automotive interiors to stylized garden sets, while casting and production were managed by Daniele Carettoni. The series utilizes techniques such as direct flash lighting, macro-scale play, and natural light to emphasize varied textures ranging from delicate feathers to metallic cosmetics.
