Renesans kunsztu is a fashion editorial series produced for Vogue Polska. Captured by photographer Tom Craig with styling by fashion editor Rachel Bakewell, the project features model Gemma Janes in a sequence of cinematic, high-contrast frames that explore classical architectural motifs and textured interiors. The work leverages natural light and golden hour illumination to anchor the editorial within historic European streetscapes and opulent, period-style rooms. Utilising an analogue film aesthetic, the series adopts a moody, atmospheric visual language—incorporating techniques like chiaroscuro and deliberate grain to enhance the tactile quality of the layered tailoring and structured silhouettes worn throughout the collection. The project bridges portraiture and documentary-style storytelling, placing the subject against a backdrop of stone colonnades, distressed walls, and ornate classical elements. The synthesis of rich color grading and intentional shadow play highlights the interplay between refined high-fashion and the organic, weathered environments of the setting.
