Vogue Polska explores avant-garde tailoring and sculptural silhouettes in Reconstruction, a fashion editorial series that pushes the boundaries of traditional apparel. The project emphasizes structural complexity through exaggerated ruffs, rigid skirt elements, and ornate headpieces, captured with a refined, tactile sensibility. Photographer Bohdan Bohdanov employs varied lighting techniques, ranging from soft, diffused studio illumination to dramatic, low-key chiaroscuro, to highlight the intricate beadwork, feather trim, and metallic textiles. The imagery is anchored by model Claudia Campana, whose poised presence balances the collection's diverse, dramatic looks. With beauty direction by makeup artist Marianna Yurkiewicz and casting by Neill Seeto, the editorial leans into a moody, desaturated aesthetic. The series makes frequent use of clean backgrounds and textured, mottled surfaces to frame each ensemble, reinforcing a focus on fine craftsmanship and conceptual design.
