High Country is an expansive fashion editorial produced for Vogue Polska, exploring the interplay between delicate, ethereal textiles and the raw textures of the natural landscape. Photographer James Giles captures a series of stark contrasts, moving between rugged granite rock formations and dense forest settings to intimate, wood-paneled interiors. The project leans into a cinematic, editorial aesthetic, utilizing monochromatic and desaturated color palettes to emphasize the structural details of the garments. The production was helmed by Carmen Cicchinelli Production, who also oversaw the project's casting. Key creative contributions include hair styling by Lok Lau and make-up artistry by Shella Ruby Martin, both of whom define the series' focus on soft, natural textures. Throughout the collection, the imagery relies on natural light and film-inspired techniques to ground the high-fashion styling within its rustic environment.
