High Country for Vogue Polska is a sweeping fashion editorial that contrasts ethereal, high-fashion silhouettes against raw, rugged landscapes. Photographed by James Giles, the series navigates between remote mountainous terrain, dense forest settings, and intimate, wood-paneled interiors to create a narrative of grounded elegance. The execution relies on a diverse visual language, utilizing analogue film techniques and high-contrast monochrome compositions to emphasize texture. Throughout the series, the styling by Lok Lau and makeup by Shella Ruby Martin maintain a delicate, soft focus that bridges the gap between delicate organza or sheer fabrics and the weathered surfaces of stone, moss, and timber. Carmen Cicchinelli Production handled the casting and production across these varied environments.
