VOGUE POLSKA
Different Age

May 2026
Different Age, a striking editorial spread for Vogue Polska, masterfully explores the intersection of high fashion and sculptural minimalism. Under the astute creative direction of Chiara Janczarek, the project channels a sophisticated, gallery-like atmosphere, placing model Esme Cornelius at the center of a curated, raw-material landscape. By elevating the subject onto weathered wooden crates amidst plaster forms, frames, and canvases, the production leans into a tension between the organic and the constructed. The styling acts as a bold narrative device, contrasting saturated, vibrant hues and ornate, textured damasks with the neutral, muted backdrop of draped fabric and rustic brick floors. Through the lens, the team utilizes natural light to achieve a soft, diffused quality that highlights the intricate craftsmanship of the garments—from faceted crystal buttons to iridescent feather millinery. Every composition maintains a refined, symmetrical poise, treating the human form as an extension of the studio's artistic environment. With casting direction by Marina Fairfax, the imagery avoids traditional fashion tropes, favoring an editorial, portrait-focused approach that emphasizes form, pattern, and the tactile nature of luxury materials. This project serves as a compelling study in contemporary visual storytelling, where the deliberate use of space and light fosters a sense of timeless elegance, successfully elevating the editorial portrait to a form of sculptural art.
