VOGUE POLSKA
Couture

Mar 2026
Vogue Polska explores the intersection of history and modernity in Couture, a striking fashion editorial that redefines the luxury landscape through a lens of quiet, cinematic intensity. Under the creative direction of Chiara Janczarek, the project transforms grand, historic interiors into stages for high-fashion storytelling, where models including Auriane Chevènement, Loo Loo, Naomi Apajok, and Viktorija Bauzyte breathe life into elaborate, avant-garde silhouettes. Photographer Antonino Cafiero masterfully employs a mix of natural light and low-key chiaroscuro lighting to elevate the intricate textures—from wispy white feathers and delicate crochet to shimmering sequins and architectural ruffles—into tactile focal points. Fashion editor Kasia Mioduska curates a wardrobe that bridges the gap between classic couture and contemporary minimalism, while subtle styling choices from Eduardo Bravo and Aurelia Liansberg ensure the focus remains on the dramatic, sculptural forms of the garments. This visual narrative channels a sense of mysterious, timeless elegance, perfectly capturing the atmospheric tension between the subjects and their opulent, paneled surroundings. By balancing sharp portraiture with dynamic, blurred motion, the series feels less like a simple showcase of clothing and more like a deliberate, moody exploration of the intersection where heritage craftsmanship meets the evolving aesthetic of high-end editorial photography, cementing its place as a definitive study in refined, luxury fashion.
