This campaign for the New York City Ballet captures the fluidity of dance through a series of evocative, theatrical portraits. Led by photographer Elizaveta Porodina, the imagery leans into a cinematic aesthetic, utilizing long-exposure and multiple-exposure techniques to render the dancers as ethereal, kinetic forms against moody, gradient backdrops. The editorial approach emphasizes sculptural movement and rich textile details, from layered tulle and translucent capes to vibrant red pointe shoes and metallic accents.
