Valentino’s Fireflies editorial project captures a collection of eveningwear through the lens of photographer Willy Vanderperre. Developed under the creative direction of Alessandro Michele, the campaign leans into an atmospheric, moody aesthetic set within ornate, historical interiors featuring frescoes and dark wood paneling. The imagery utilizes a mix of hard directional lighting and soft chiaroscuro techniques to highlight the textures of metallic gowns, sequined blouses, and structured tailoring. Styled by Jonathan Kaye, the project showcases the garments against a backdrop of weathered textures, emphasizing the interplay between light and form.
