Brand Identity

May 2019
The brand identity for AZ Museum represents a masterclass in minimalist precision, merging industrial graphic design with a cohesive lifestyle aesthetic. Orchestrated by ONY, the visual system leans into a bold, high-contrast monochromatic color palette, punctuated by occasional bursts of vivid red that bring a distinct tactile quality to the output. Across the campaign, the work deftly balances rigid, sans-serif Cyrillic typography with soft, organic textures, as seen in the interplay between draped fabrics and clean-lined cotton apparel. The project operates at the intersection of Digital Media and Entertainment, creating a versatile design language that translates seamlessly from editorial UI illustration to tangible merchandise, including branded hoodies and canvas totes. Utilizing soft light and clean commercial studio photography, the aesthetic feels both contemporary and architectural. By layering abstract geometric patterns with stark negative space, the system reinforces a sense of modern authority. Every asset, from the grid-based posters to the nuanced portraiture, adheres to a strict yet expressive framework. This identity does not merely promote a space; it establishes a graphic presence that is as functional as it is artistic, prioritizing a restrained sophistication that resonates within the fast-paced cultural sector. The result is an cohesive brand world that maintains visual clarity while inviting deeper exploration of the museum's institutional character through deliberate, thoughtful design choices.
