Brand Identity

Oct 2018
In a sophisticated demonstration of editorial design and brand identity, this collection documents a series of comprehensive case studies that bridge the gap between abstract creative concepts and tangible commercial application. Executed by Counter-Print, the project serves as a masterclass in portfolio presentation, utilizing clean, minimalist typography and high-contrast graphic compositions to articulate the visual narratives of diverse humanitarian and retail entities, including the humanitarian efforts for Cruz Roja Española and the architectural branding for Uniqlo. The project leverages editorial techniques to frame complex brand systems within a cohesive, tactile experience, characterized by the juxtaposition of crisp vector infographics against warm, live-action photography. Each spread is meticulously composed, appearing against a recurring deep maroon background that grounds the disparate case studies into a unified, high-end design document. By focusing on the interplay of geometric shapes, soft pastels, and deliberate white space, the work channels an aesthetic of professional clarity, ensuring the documentation of these branding projects remains as compelling as the identities themselves. The result is a refined exploration of the printed medium, where each deliberate choice—from the color-coordinated ribbon bookmarks to the specific font weights—works to elevate the status of the design work, effectively capturing the intersection of artistic commercial strategy and legacy storytelling within the digital media and publishing landscape.
