To Be Magazine features musician Sampha in an editorial portrait series photographed by Hector Clark. The visual narrative centres on a series of intimate compositions that contrast the artist against a group of ballet dancers, set within an industrial loft space. The series leans into an analogue film aesthetic, utilising grainy textures and a cool colour palette to establish its atmosphere. Across both colour and monochrome editorial layouts, the project makes extensive use of low-key chiaroscuro lighting to highlight the tactile details of the subjects and their environments.
