Description

Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) partnered with GrandArmy to develop a comprehensive brand identity system. The project encompasses a versatile visual language, integrating bold typography with vibrant color blocks, clean grid-based layouts, and minimalist graphic design across digital and physical touchpoints. Creative contributors GrandArmy, Ian Crane, and James Stuart executed a wide range of assets, including motion graphics, outdoor advertising, and editorial portraiture. The system leans into a modern corporate aesthetic, utilizing both serif and sans-serif typefaces to balance legibility with a high-contrast, professional tone. The identity is further expressed through kinetic motion design, featuring fluid vector animations and structured horizontal alignments that emphasize the publisher's role in the music industry.
