ODDA Magazine presents THE HOUDINI CHALLENGE, an editorial series that explores the intersection of beauty and surrealist still life. Photographer Cody Lidtke leads the visual direction, capturing a sequence of highly staged, clean images that juxtapose cosmetic packaging against unexpected organic elements and tactile objects. The series features model Roos Abels, with styling by Lola Maqueda, hair by Andrew Dylan, and makeup by Rei Tajima. Set design by Miles Bettinelli rounds out the production, which employs sharp studio lighting to emphasize textures ranging from glossy product finishes to the iridescent surfaces of insects and the porous crumb of patterned cakes.
