HERO Magazine Summer’s Last Hurrah 2026

About

HERO Magazine’s fashion editorial, Summer’s Last Hurrah, explores a narrative-driven series of portraits captured across nocturnal and twilight settings. The project leans into a moody aesthetic, utilizing low-key, chiaroscuro lighting to define the subjects against stark, dark environments. The series features models Wumuti Halimulati and Zhichuan Hu, with hair styling by Xiang Zi. The imagery transitions between intimate interiors and expansive coastal backdrops, employing natural light and warm, cinematic tones to anchor the editorial’s cohesive visual language.
