HERO Magazine
Let's Trip

Mar 2026
Let's Trip, a striking fashion editorial for HERO Magazine, serves as a masterclass in modern creative synthesis, blending high-concept portraiture with an unapologetically bold aesthetic. Under the precise lens of photographer Jaša Müller, the project leans into a vibrant, experimental spirit, utilizing diverse techniques such as studio strobe lighting, subtle double exposure, and layered analogue film elements to craft a distinct visual language. Styled with architectural flair by Jermaine Daley, the wardrobe emphasizes structural experimentation, pairing oversized silhouettes and textured knitwear with unexpected color blocking. This visual intensity is further elevated by the deliberate artistry of makeup artist Anga Borodina, who applies prismatic pigments and abstract strokes across the subjects' faces, grounding the high-fashion editorial in a sensory, painterly experience. With hair by Eduardo Bravo providing a crisp, minimalist counterpoint, the series pushes beyond traditional catalogue imagery, favoring a graphic, collage-like composition that feels both avant-garde and meticulously curated. Casting director Alexandra Antonova brings together a diverse ensemble, including Douta Sidibe, whose steady, intimate gaze anchors the movement and distortion within the frames. By balancing clean, off-white backdrops with chaotic, saturated accents and clever visual post-production effects, the project effectively captures the intersection of contemporary designer fashion and fine art, ultimately offering a thoughtful exploration of identity through a lens of stylized, rhythmic, and textural contrast.
