Standard Equipment: Brand Identity
Aug 2024
Standard Equipment’s brand identity project establishes a comprehensive visual system rooted in minimalist principles and clean graphic design. Developed with contributions from newkid and Christina Kosik, the work spans across physical business collateral, 3D rendered motion graphics, and a structured e-commerce interface. The system utilizes a precise typographic hierarchy—featuring typefaces KMR Apparat and KMR Weldenburg—balanced against a vibrant color palette and industrial product photography. The execution leverages techniques including emboss & deboss detailing on print materials alongside clean 3D render / CGI motion sequences that emphasize geometric form and industrial precision. This cohesive design framework extends to digital touchpoints, including a modular website layout that organizes furniture and homeware objects within a professional, grid-based interface. The project functions as a unified communication tool, blending technical schematics with functional UI design.
