Squarespace explores the intersection of digital creation and surrealist narrative in the 'Scuba' commercial. The spot depicts an interior domestic setting unexpectedly flooding after a user inputs a domain name, blending mundane desk activities with fantastical aquatic elements. Produced by Iconoclast US, the project relies on a hybrid of live-action technique and complex VFX to transform the familiar into the surreal. Electric Theatre Collective handled post-production to integrate the visual effects, while the audio landscape was shaped by music and sound design from Q Department and LIME.
