Smart China introduces Concept 5, an electric SUV campaign that leans into an atmospheric, high-contrast aesthetic. The project utilizes a blend of live-action technique and extensive VFX to highlight the vehicle's design language, focusing on metallic textures, lighting elements, and digital interior interfaces. The commercial, commissioned through Optimist Inc., moves through a series of moody sequences, from macro details of water on the vehicle's body to wide cinematic shots of the SUV in a dark environment. Post-production and visual effects were handled by Katana Studio and Juice, contributing to the project’s monochrome, cinematic tone.
