SKIMS
Fall 2024 Ad Campaign

Dec 2024
The SKIMS Fall 2024 ad campaign masterfully leans into the brand's signature editorial minimalism, offering a stark yet sophisticated look at the season’s latest intimate apparel. By stripping away environmental clutter, the campaign directs absolute focus toward the structural integrity and textile quality of the garments themselves. Under the creative direction of Kim Kardashian, the project achieves a seamless cohesion that defines the modern luxury fashion landscape. Photographer Vanessa Beecroft utilizes a controlled studio strobe to bathe the imagery in high-key light, creating a crisp and polished aesthetic that emphasizes the precise, form-fitting silhouettes of the bodysuits and hosiery. Model Nia Long anchors the series, delivering dynamic yet restrained poses that highlight the fluidity and movement of the collection against a neutral, seamless backdrop. Each shot functions as a refined portrait, balancing commercial accessibility with an elevated, high-fashion sensibility. By employing traditional studio portrait techniques, the campaign avoids extraneous detail, ensuring the viewer remains captivated by the interplay of skin, fabric, and composition. The result is a quintessential example of contemporary fashion branding, where subtle styling choices—such as the deliberate choice of pointed-toe heels and deliberate, architectural posing—work in concert to project an image of confident, understated elegance that remains true to the evolving identity of the SKIMS label.
