Self Service Obsessions serves as a showcase of contemporary fashion editorial work, blending high-concept tailoring with a minimalist visual language. The project presents a series of portraits that oscillate between stark studio environments and gritty, atmospheric urban settings, utilizing both clean studio lighting and soft natural light to highlight garment textures. Photographer Emily Lipson captures a range of sculptural silhouettes and layered textures, working closely with fashion editor Ondine Azoulay. The styling leans into a directional aesthetic, incorporating voluminous headwear, metallic accents, and intricate layering. With set design by Sophear Van Froment and casting by Rachel Chandler, the series achieves a refined look characterized by moody color palettes and sharp, deliberate compositions. Hair styling by Ryan Mitchell and makeup by Patrick Glatthaar complete the polished, editorial execution.
