Second Nature is an editorial fashion project for CR Fashion Book, exploring the intersection of industrial decay and organic form. Captured by photographer Aliocha Wallon, the series leans into a raw, earthy aesthetic, contrasting high-concept couture with weathered brick, overgrown foliage, and abandoned materials. Under the creative direction of Emmanuelle Levesque, the work utilizes natural light to highlight textures across a range of environments, from meadow-bound portraits to gritty, metal-heavy compositions. Featuring model Jennifer Matias, the editorial integrates diverse styling from Andrea Ottaviani, ranging from avant-garde structured outerwear and shimmering metallic dresses to leather and faux fur pieces. The production features hair by Hiro Furukawa and makeup by Kamila Vay, with casting led by Rosie Vogel. Throughout the project, the imagery emphasizes a clean, documentary-style approach to high fashion.
