Sacai’s S/S 2024 collection presentation in Paris is documented through a series of editorial portraits captured backstage. Directed by Chitose Abe, the project highlights the architectural tailoring and voluminous silhouettes synonymous with the fashion house through a controlled studio lens. Photographer Stas Komarovski focuses on the tactile textures and layered construction of the garments, utilizing soft, directional lighting and low-key chiaroscuro techniques to emphasize structural lines. The imagery leans into a moody, desaturated aesthetic, with select frames rendered in monochrome and analogue-style film stocks to highlight individual material details. The production team includes fashion stylist Karl Templer, who curated the sculptural ensembles, with hair by Guido Palau and makeup by Diane Kendal.
