The Ryunosukeokazaki S/S 26 Lookbook presents an exploration of avant-garde wearable sculpture, defined by intricate architectural frameworks and expansive geometric silhouettes. Designed by Ryunosuke Okazaki, the collection features fluid, structural garments characterized by sweeping, concentric loops and ribbon-like forms that extend dynamically from the body. The work focuses on the intersection of textile artistry and volumetric design, utilizing metallic sheen fabrics and bold, saturated palettes to articulate complex forms. Shot in a minimalist studio environment, the editorial imagery employs hard, directional lighting to project stark, elongated shadows against a neutral backdrop. This interplay of light and form emphasizes the three-dimensional quality of the designs, which range from wing-like appendages to rigid cage structures. Model Gendai Funato carries these sculptural pieces with precise, poised movement, complemented by the clean, understated makeup styling of Kanako Yoshida.
