Royal College of Art
Brand Identity

Sep 2023
The Royal College of Art brand identity for the 2023 show, spearheaded by Studio Koseda and William Fairbrother, integrates traditional institutional heritage with a dynamic, contemporary visual language. The project spans architectural installations, environmental graphics, and motion design, utilising high-contrast typography and a distinct vibrant green palette across both physical and digital touchpoints. Techniques such as 3D render / CGI and motion graphics animate the institution's crest and exhibition details into fluid, sculptural forms. These digital assets are complemented by tactile graphic design elements, including embossed typography and physical signage that interacts with the college's historic brick and stone architecture. The resulting identity maintains a clean, minimalist aesthetic while establishing a cohesive presence across the urban environment.
